Method

  • Place the puffy pastry sheets on a floured surface to prevent the dough from sticking. After that, use ice cube trays to form the morsels. Put the pastry sheets on top of the tray and try making those shapes.

  • Fill the dough with brie, some walnuts and a bit of black pepper.

  • Put the remaining pastry sheet on top of the ice cube trays. Then take a cutting board, take the tray, and flip it onto the board. Take a knife and cut in between each brie morsel, and decorate the edges using a fork. Press it on the edges of the dough, and it will create small lines, like a design.

  • Take a tray with a baking sheet on top and put the morsels carefully on it. Beat an egg and brush it on top of the morsels, do not forget to sprinkle pepper on them.

  • Heat the oven to 400° F and bake the morsels until the dough looks golden and puffy. Bake for 25 minutes.

Tips

  • For a more delicate taste, add grapes to the recipe. They can serve as filling, it combines well with the brie cheese and gives the appetizer a delectable flavor that is unforgettable. Actually, you can use any grapes you want, it all depends on your preferences.

  • If you do not have an ice tray, try doing the morsels like you would do dumplings. Put the filling in the middle of the dough, and fold it.

Bon Appetit!
