Are you wondering how to impress everyone at a dinner table? Try preparing the baked brie with maple syrup. Maple is a slightly sweet sap that pairs wonderfully with cheese; therefore, making such a dish is absolutely worth it!


  • Brie cheese
    1 small wheel
  • Butter
    0,3 cup
  • Brown sugar
    2 tbsp.
  • Maple syrup
    2,5 fl.oz.
  • Chopped pecans
    2,6 oz.

  • Heat the oven up to 350° F.

  • Cut about 1/4 of the butter into a bowl and microwave it for about 1 minute, until it becomes watery. If you do not have a microwave at home, just melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat.

  • Let's make the sauce. Add the melted butter, after 2.6 oz. of pecans, brown sugar and maple syrup in a bowl. Stir the mixture well until all the ingredients are fully combined. 

  • Make some small cuts on the brie cheese, and after that, place it on a pan with a baking sheet. Bake it for 15 minutes until the edges look pretty melted.


  • For a more melted texture, bake the brie cheese for 20 minutes instead of 15; however, be super careful not to overbake it. Take a close look at its shape because it has to be the same as before.

  • If you do not like the taste of pecans, try substituting them with walnuts, hazelnuts, or pistachios. Actually, the choice of nuts does not matter; add the preferred ones and improvise.
