Heat the oven up to 350° F.
Cut about 1/4 of the butter into a bowl and microwave it for about 1 minute, until it becomes watery. If you do not have a microwave at home, just melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat.
Let's make the sauce. Add the melted butter, after 2.6 oz. of pecans, brown sugar and maple syrup in a bowl. Stir the mixture well until all the ingredients are fully combined.
Make some small cuts on the brie cheese, and after that, place it on a pan with a baking sheet. Bake it for 15 minutes until the edges look pretty melted.
For a more melted texture, bake the brie cheese for 20 minutes instead of 15; however, be super careful not to overbake it. Take a close look at its shape because it has to be the same as before.
If you do not like the taste of pecans, try substituting them with walnuts, hazelnuts, or pistachios. Actually, the choice of nuts does not matter; add the preferred ones and improvise.
