Melt butter (only 1 ¼ cup) in the microwave. Pour it into the bowl. Then combine with other ingredients: flour, almond powder, vanillin, powdered sugar (¾ cup), salt and eggs (break them before adding). Mix it in a mixer. Make a ball out of the dough and put in the fridge for 1 hour.
Peel the apples, then cut into cubes. Heat the frying pan, add 1 tbsp. of butter, brown sugar and apples. Simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat until the apples are golden brown, stirring occasionally.
Make crumble topping. Take 1 2/3 tbsp. each of the following ingredients: butter, brown sugar, almond petals and powdered sugar. Stir gently until you get a crumbly mass of large crumbs.
Knead shortcrust pastry and roll out with a little flour to a thickness of 3 mm. Then cut 4 circles using a plate (diameter 20 cm) and put the circles in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Fill the circles with the apples and then with crumble topping. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes at 356 F. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving (when the tarts are chilled).
Bon Appetit!
