Peel onions, cut into rings.
Break eggs into a bowl, beat with a fork and pour in milk. Mix well.
In another bowl, mix the following ingredients: flour, baking powder and salt. Pour the breadcrumbs into the third bowl. Dip the onion rings into the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally in breadcrumbs.
Heat the pot, pour in oil. Brown the onion rings over moderate heat for 3 minutes until golden. Add, not all rings at once to make them all well fried. Finally, dry with a paper towel.
