Roasted garlic bread

An unusual recipe of beer snack made from white and rye bread. If desired, add grated cheese at the end of cooking. Serve hot.

  • White bread
    3 slices
  • Rye bread
    3 slices
  • Garlic
    1 clove
  • Sunflower oil
    7,5 tsp.
  • Dried dill
    tsp.
  • Italian herbs
    tsp.
  • Dried basil
    tsp.
  • Ground black pepper
    to taste
  • Salt
    to taste

Method

  • Peel the garlic, grind in a press. You can also finely cut it with a knife.

  • Cut the slices of bread into long strips (like croutons).

  • Mix the following ingredients in a separate bowl: crushed garlic, salt, ground pepper, dill, basil, Italian herbs and sunflower oil. Mix the mixture well.

  • Pour this mixture over the bread strips. Then carefully transfer the bread strips on a baking sheet, covered with parchment. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 356 F. Make sure the garlic bread do not burn.
