Season the minced meat with pepper and salt. Then add the garlic and some herbs such as oregano and basil to taste. Shape the mixture into about 12-15 small balls and put them in a baking dish.
For the tomato sauce, mix the diced tomatoes with the cream, Italian herbs mix, tomato paste and sugar, then season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the meatballs. Slice the mozzarella and place on top.
Cook in a preheated oven at 347℉ for about 30-40 minutes. Be careful not to let the cheese get too dark.
Rice goes well with this casserole.
