  • Bring the water to a boil and add the instant vegetable broth. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut the broccoli into small florets.

  • Now dice the potatoes and boil in the broth until tender. Remove the potatoes and boil the broccoli in the broth.

  • For the sauce, cut the onion into cubes and fry in margarine for about 7 minutes. Then add the flour and fry for a couple of minutes. Then add half of vegetable broth in which the vegetables were boiled, and let it thicken a little. Then add the cream and season the sauce with salt, ground paprika, nutmeg, pepper and chili.

  • Put the vegetables in a baking dish, pour over the sauce, sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 356℉ (top and bottom heat) for about 20-25 minutes.


  • You can use soy cream, it is lower in calories.
