Put the baking dish in the preheated oven and cook for about 40 minutes. After 35 minutes, make a test with a toothpick and if the dough does not stick, the casserole is ready, otherwise continue baking for a few more minutes.
You can use maple syrup or honey instead of sugar.
As a topping, you can add any fruit, berries, coconut or chocolate.
