Method

  • First, you need to mix all the necessary ingredients in a deep container. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whisk the whites until fluffy and chill. Combine egg yolks with sour milk. Sift the flour and add it to the yolk mixture. Don't forget to add 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Mix it all well.

  • Add salt and sugar to the egg whites, mix gently with a spatula.

  • Preheat your griddle over medium-high heat and grease it with oil. You can use a special heart-shaped frying pan or a baking dish. Put a small amount of dough into the pan and cover it with a lid. When batter begins to bubble, remove the cookie cutter and flip. Fry the pancakes for 3 minutes on each side. (Bubbles should appear on pancakes, as in the picture)

  • Place the finished pancakes on a plate and brush them with a piece of butter. Decorate the pancakes with berries and pour syrup. Your beloved will definitely like it. Bon Appetit!

Tips

  • The pan needs to be greased only for the first pancake. Next, fry without oil.

  • Pancakes must be baked immediately after making the dough. The dough doesn’t need to rest.

Bon Appetit!
