Let's try to cook a very nutritious and delicious crab omelette, which is great as a breakfast. Such a dish saturates for some hours and doesn’t allow to feel you hungry. It will take 10 minutes of your time. Crab omelette is rich in proteins and fats. So let's move on to cooking!

  • Crab meat
    1 cup
  • Small onion
    1 pcs
  • Eggs
    4 pcs
  • Butter
    4 tbsp.
  • Scallions
    2 tbsp.
  • Salt, pepper
    to taste

Method

  • The first step is to chop the scallions and a small onion finely.

  • Put the frying pan on medium heat and melt 2 tbsp. of the butter.  

  • Use crab meat for the filling. Take the crab sticks or the boiled meat of a fresh crab. Cut the crab meat into small pieces. Add the crab meat, chopped onion, chopped scallions to the melted butter. Cook all ingredients for 4 minutes. Don't forget to add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Turn off the heat.

  • Heat another frying pan on the stove and melt the butter on it. Turn down the heat. In another bowl, crack the eggs, add salt and your favorite spices. Beat the eggs with a fork or with a whisk. Use what is more convenient for you.

  • Pour the eggs all over the pan and spread them evenly. Add in fried crab meat, scallions and onions. Cover with a lid and let it fry for about 5 mins. Wait till the omelette rises up and becomes fluffy and tight.

  • Put it on a plate. Crab omelette is ready, enjoy! 

Tips

  • Use only egg whites for the omelette, if you want a low-calorie omelette. If you need a more thick omelette in consistency, then use only the yolks.

  • First, the omelette is cooked over medium heat, and when it rises, the fire should be turned down.
