This eggless omelette with gram flour is very popular in India. You can add any spices that you like the most, either tangy or aromatic. Serve hot with herbs, your favorite sauces or vegetables for breakfast or lunch.

  • Spinach
    1 pinch
  • Raw soya chunks
    1,5 tbsp.
  • Gram flour
    1 tsp.
  • Half inch ginger
    1
  • Cloves garlic
    2
  • Baking soda
    1 pinch
  • Coconut oil
    1 tsp.
  • Ground red chili
    to taste
  • Ground turmeric
    to taste
  • Salt
    to taste

Method

  • Grind in a blender the following ingredients: soya chunks, green chili, garlic and ginger.  You can also finely chop.

  • Wash the vegetables. Then peel and finely cut.

  • Wash spinach, finely cut it.

  • Take a bowl. Mix well the following ingredients: vegetables, soya mixture, the remaining spices and herbs. Also pour a little water that the batter does not get very thick or thin.

  • Heat the frying pan, add oil. Then pour the mixture with gram flour. Brown with closed lid until one side is done. Then flip another side, brown without lid.
