Stovetop Omelette is a very delicious omelette. It's full of proteins and fats. The omelette is made only with eggs, and the filling includes vegetables and bacon. The omelette is sprinkled with shredded cheese. Many people like this serving of the dish: adults and children. Stovetop Omelette is good for any meal, especially in the morning. Let's move on to the recipe.


  • Eggs
    4 pcs
  • Bacon, chopped
    4 strips
  • Portobello mushroom, sliced
    2 pcs
  • Green bell pepper
    0,5 cup
  • Onion
    2 tbsp.
  • Butter
    4 tsp.
  • Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    4 tbsp.
  • Salt, black pepper
    to taste

  • Put the pan on medium heat. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Chop the bell pepper and onion. Chop the vegetables finely. Put them into the frying pan. Then add the mushroom slices and bacon. Fry the vegetables in a frying pan until they become soft, and the vegetables will change their color. Remove  the fried vegetables on a plate.

  • Beat the eggs well in a bowl. Add salt, ground pepper and favorite spices to taste, mix the eggs again.

  • Pour the eggs into the pan, you can grease the pan's bottom with oil. Immediately place the bacon and vegetables to the eggs and carefully spread it. Cover with a lid and fry for 3 minutes. Then flip the omelette. Sprinkle the cheese on the top. Turn down the heat and cover with a lid. Wait till the cheese melts. Transfer the Stovetop omelette to a plate. Enjoy!


  • From time to time, check the readiness of the Stovetop omelette with a spatula. As soon as the omelette comes off the surface of the pan, it’s ready.

  • Add different vegetables and meat to the filling. You can replace bacon with chicken or pork. And pepper on tomatoes. Cook the way you like.
