  • Agave syrup
    to taste
  • Small oat flakes

  • Low fat milk

  • Water
    7 fl. oz.
  • Cocoa powder for baking

  • Grated coconut (or grated chocolate)

  • Bring the milk with water, oat flakes and cocoa powder to a boil in a saucepan. Cook the mixture, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes until it thickens well.

  • While the porridge is cooking, mash a ripe banana. Once the porridge is cooked, add the mashed banana and grated coconut or chocolate to the mixture and stir well. Finally, sweeten the mixture with a drizzle of agave syrup or any sweetener of your choice.


  • If you prefer a thicker porridge, you can add more oats or reduce the amount of liquid used.

  • You can also add other ingredients to the porridge to customize it to your liking, such as nuts, seeds or dried fruit.
