In a large and dry pan, fry the spelt flakes, oats and barley in batches for 5 minutes until they are golden. Once they are toasted, let them cool and store them in an airtight container.
When you are ready to eat the porridge, combine 1.75 oz. of the mixture with 10.60 fl. oz. of milk or water in a saucepan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. If desired, you can top the porridge with a drizzle of agave nectar and some chopped strawberries. This porridge mixture will keep for up to 6 months in an airtight container.
You can use any type of milk or plant-based milk for this recipe, such as almond milk, soy milk, or coconut milk.
Bon Appetit!
