Tuna and Tomato Quiche

A new quiche recipe, this time with tuna and tomatoes. Perfect for a qucik homemade lunch or dinner that can be served both hot and cold.


  • Eggs
    6 pcs.
  • Sour cream
    6,6 fl. oz.
  • Tuna
    9 oz.
  • Tomatoes
    3 pcs.
  • All purpose flour
    5,3 oz.
  • Butter
    2,7 oz.
  • Cold water
    1,5 cups
  • Black pepper and salt
    a pinch
  • Garlic powder
    a pinch
  • Chili flakes
    a pinch

  • Form the dough by mixing the flour, butter, salt and cold water together. Mix by hand, form a ball, cover with food wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • For the filling, mix the eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Add the tuna and incorporate it into the mixture.

  • Take out the dough, spread it with the help of a rolling pin and cover the ceramic pan with it. Pour the liquid tuna mixture over the dough, add the sliced tomatoes and aromatic herbs on top.

  • Bake everything in the oven for 35 minutes at 365° F. Carefully remove the quiche from the oven and serve it with sour cream.


  • Goes well with white or rose wine for dinner.

  • Use any kind of spices (paprika, basil, seafood spices go very well).
