Slice off the top of each bun and remove the crumb from the future basket.
Place finely chopped ham or chicken meat (to your liking) in the bottom of the basket, then sprinkle with grated cheese and cut green onion. Cover with the egg. Season with salt, pepper, more cheese, or any greens you prefer.
Cover the bun with its own cut-off top and place in a preheated 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes or until the egg is set. Done! Serve the dish hot, garnished with your choice of fresh herbs.
If you accidentally pull out more crumbs than you should, or a small hole is formed, take a small piece of bread from one of the remaining cut-out centers, place it on the hole and press it down with your finger.
If you prefer beaten eggs, the second step is to beat the eggs with the chosen meat. It would also be very tasty.
Bon Appetit!
