Method

  • The first and most important step is to squeeze the grapefruit, which can be done either with a special device or by squeezing the fruit until all of its juice pours out. Afterwards, it is time to cut the pineapple into small cubes, peel off its skin, and start cutting it into petite cubes, as desired. The next small step is to peel the banana and also cut it into slices, which makes it easier to blend.

  • Put all the necessary ingredients into the blender: the sliced banana, pineapple, grapefruit juice, and Greek yoghurt. Blend everything thoroughly. If needed, add more grapefruit juice. Afterwards, enjoy the fantastic drink.

Tips

  • If you prefer the smoothie with a thicker texture, add 6 cubes of ice in the blender and mix well.

  • How to peel the pineapple skin like a pro? Place the pineapple on the cutting board standing it up on its flat bottom. With one hand steadily holding the pineapple's top, begin removing the outer layer of skin. Be careful not to cut too deeply into the fruit; just enough to get through the brown areas in the flesh.

Bon Appetit!
