Method

  • Beat the milk, banana, maple syrup, vanilla, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt into a deep wide bowl. Beat the mixture with a blender or broom. The mass should be homogeneous and without lumps. Place in a shallow baking dish. And let the mixture sit for about 5 min. It should thicken.

  • Place a slice of bread in the batter for 30 sec. Then turn over and hold for another 30 sec.

  • Heat the coconut oil in a skillet. You need 1-2 tablespoons for 2 slices of bread. Place the bread slices in a skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides for about 3 min. Some more coconut oil can be added during frying if you need to do it.
