Cobbler with sugar crust and fresh peaches. Although it is a more complex recipe, the final result is beyond expectations.

  • Peaches
    12 pcs.
  • Lemon
    6 pcs.
  • Butter at room temperature
    6 sticks
  • White sugar
    21 oz.
  • Flour
    18,3 oz.
  • Baking powder
    12 tsp.
  • Salt
    a pinch
  • Rolled oats
    3 oz.
  • Cold milk
    20,3 fl.oz.
  • White granulated sugar
    10,6 oz.
  • Cold water
    0,6 cups

Method

  • Mix the butter with the sugar until a paste is formed. Add the oatmeal and flour with baking powder and salt. Incorporate everything well with a wooden spoon until you have a sandy mixture. At the end, add the milk and mix everything well.

  • Cut the peaches into slices. Put them in the ceramic tray, drain the juice from a lemon and the twisted peel.

  • Add the fruits over the mixture from step 1. Level the sugar on top. Sprinkle with water until the sugar softens and bake for 45 minutes at 375° F.

Suggestions

  • Leave the dessert to cool for 30 minutes before serving.

  • Add your favorite ice creamvanilla flavour is the best choice for this recipe.
