Mix the butter with the sugar until a paste is formed. Add the oatmeal and flour with baking powder and salt. Incorporate everything well with a wooden spoon until you have a sandy mixture. At the end, add the milk and mix everything well.
Cut the peaches into slices. Put them in the ceramic tray, drain the juice from a lemon and the twisted peel.
Add the fruits over the mixture from step 1. Level the sugar on top. Sprinkle with water until the sugar softens and bake for 45 minutes at 375° F.
Leave the dessert to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
