To start off, finely dice the fresh clean strawberries. Add 3 cups of white sugar all over them and mix well with a spoon to incorporate the sugar and to form a jam consistency out of the ingredients.
For the crust, add the flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup of sugar. Combine the ingredients well. Add over: milk, melted butter and vanilla essence. Continue to unite them all together.
Next step, spray baking spray all over a ceramic tray, add the formed dough and the fruits with sugar on top.
Place the cobbler in the oven for 40 minutes at 375° F to cook.
Serve with vanilla ice-cream and fresh berries. A lemonade would fit perfectly for this dessert.
