Line baking trays with baking paper and preheat the oven to 350 F.
Beat the butter and sugars until it becomes airy, then add the tahini and vanilla to it and mix until smooth.
Mix the baking powder and flour in another bowl, then gradually beat in the tahini mixture to make a dough.
Spoon the dough onto the baking tray, forming small balls of future cookies, pressing them slightly on top. Make sure that the cookies are not too close together. Gently flatten the balls with a fork, then bake for 8-10 minutes. Cookies should be golden.
