Incredibly fragrant cookies for every day. For children and adults. Delicious and not too cloying. Everyone can cook!

  • Softened butter
    1 cups
  • All-purpose flour
    2,4 cups
  • Granulated sugar
    1 cups
  • Baking powder
    1,5 tsp.
  • Chicken egg
    1 pcs.
  • Vanilla extract
    1 tsp.
  • Salt
    0,5 tsp.

Method

  • First, preheat the oven to 350 F.

  • Using a stand mixer, combine dry ingredients in a bowl. They are: flour, sugar and salt.

  • In a separate bowl beat together vanilla and egg.

  • Whisk wet and dry ingredients until smooth. Form a ball of dough.

  • Place the dough on a floured surface and knead until smooth.

  • Form the dough into small balls. Press the balls down to match the shape of the round cookie and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Use your thumb to make a small indentation on each cookie. Fill the dent with jam, nuts, or chocolate. Optionally. 

  • Bake at 350 F 12-15 minutes until light brown. Turn the biscuits halfway through the cooking time. Remove the biscuits from the oven and refrigerate. Store in container at room temperature.
