  • Ovaltine
    12 cups
  • Flour

Method

  • Preheat oven to 320 F.

  • Melt the butter in advance, add sugar to it. Mix thoroughly.

  • Break the egg into 2 parts and pour into the mixture. Also mix well.

  • Add flour and Ovaltine. Stir with a mixer or food processor until smooth.

  • Make heaped teaspoon sized balls and place into a lined baking tray, leaving room for spreading.  

  • Gently press down each ball and bake in oven for 15 minutes.

  • Let cool on a baking sheet for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy.

Tips

  • How to properly melt butter in a water bath? 
    You will need two dishes of different sizes. Pour water into a large container and put it on fire. Place a smaller container on top so that it is about half submerged in water. Put chopped butter in it. Under the influence of boiling water, it begins to melt. Stir it lightly to speed up the process. Once the butter pieces completely dissolve, remove from heat.
