  • 70% Dark chocolate
    5,3 oz.
  • Eggs

  • Break the chocolate into small pieces and add them to a small bowl. Place it in the microwave and melt the chocolate for around 1 minute. Stir it for an additional 2 minutes to allow the chocolate to melt more.

  • As you hold a tiny dish, crack an egg. Catch the egg yolk in your cupped palm and let the white drip into the bowl. Place the yolk in a different dish. Repeat with the remaining 5 eggs. 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk the egg whites to soft peaks, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar and continue whisking. Continue doing it until the peak stands firm when you take the whisk out of the mixing dish.

  • Take the already-melted chocolate and add 1 large tablespoon of the whisked egg whites. To prevent the chocolate from cooling, whisk the consistency quickly. While mixing it with a spatula, add the rest of the egg whites. After that, place everything in 4 small glasses and refrigerate them for 2 hours. Serve this delectable dessert with crème fraîche on top and decorate it with some mint leaves.


  • Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into the mousse. Vanilla really enhances the flavor notes of chocolate; so, try out this interesting combination and enjoy!

  • How do you pick the best crème fraîche? Ideally, it should have a high-fat texture. Any product with a low fat content almost certainly contains additives to imitate the original's creamy flavor and texture.
