Cheesy Hot Dogs

Nourishing, hot, ruddy, the kids have it for breakfast! Sausages in puff yeast dough will become one of your family's favorite snacks - check it out and see for yourself. If you make them from ready-made dough, then time is spent only on rolling and baking. And it can be 15-20 minutes.


  • Refrigerated crescent dough
    1 can
  • Cheddar cheese
    4 slices
  • Hot dogs
    4 pcs.
  • Butter, melted
    3 tbsp.
  • Finely chopped parsley
    1 tbsp.
  • Onion powder
  • Kosher salt
    to taste

  • Preheat oven to 350° and line a medium cooking sheet with parchment paper. Remove crescent dough from tin and separate into 4 rectangles.

  • Place two slices of cheddar in the center of the crescent dough. Top with hot dog. Fold the short side of crescent dough over the hot dog, then the two long sides. Flip over onto baking sheet, seam side down.

  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter with parsley, onion powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir together, then brush over tops of hot dogs. Bake until golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with ketchup, if desired.
