Ground beef fajitas

Fajitas is a Mexican dish. This is a mixture of vegetables and meat, wrapped into thin tortillas. According to the original recipe, the meat is cut into strips.

  • Ground beef
    1,2 lbs.
  • Onions
    3 heads
  • Garlic
    3 cloves
  • Tomatoes
    3 pcs.
  • Canned beans
    1 lbs.
  • Tomato puree
    9 tsp.
  • Grated cheese
    1,5 cups
  • Tortilla
    6 pcs.
  • Ground red pepper
    to taste
  • Salt

  • Rinse the tomatoes under running water, cut in a random shape.

  • Peel onions, rinse under running water and finely cut.

  • Heat the frying pan, add vegetable oil. Brown the chopped onions, tomatoes for a few minutes. Add the ground beef, stir well. Then add beans, tomato puree and spices. Simmer until it’s done.

  • Make fajitas. Transfer the grated cheese to the tortilla, the second layer is ground beef filling and close. Then put into a frying pan for about 2 minutes, then turn over to the other side.


  • How to choose ground beef? A fresh ground meat has an even color.
