Tomato sauce with ground beef

A very tasty filling made of ground beef, canned tomatoes, fresh herbs and spices. It can be served with rice, pasta, potatoes.

  • Onions
    2 Onions
  • Garlic
    4 cloves
  • Canned tomatoes
    0,8 lbs.
  • Dry red wine
    10 tbsp.
  • Olive oil
    4 tbsp.
  • Cinnamon sticks
    2 pcs.
  • Oregano
    to taste
  • Ground pepper
    to taste
  • Salt
    to taste

Method

  • Peel onions and garlic, then finely cut. Heat the frying pan, add oil and brown the chopped ingredients until golden.

  • Then add the ground beef, salt and black pepper. Brown until golden. Stir well.

  • Pour in wine, canned tomatoes with their juice to the pan. Add oregano leaves, cinnamon sticks. Simmer for about half an hour, stirring constantly.
