First, place the ground beef in a large mixing bowl and season it with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to your taste. Afterward, start forming medium-sized patties, and meanwhile, preheat the grill to medium.
Place the patties on the already-preheated grill. Do not forget to spray some olive oil on the grill so the patties do not stick to it. Cook them for 5 minutes per side; when done, place the Cheddar cheese slice on top and let it melt for an extra minute. After that, take the patty from the heat and set it aside.
Before making the cheeseburger, make sure to wash and slice the pickled cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onion into thin slices. Also, give a good wash to the basil leaves.
Now it's time to assemble the cheeseburger. Place the ingredients in your desired order, and an important step is to spread a spoonful of ketchup and a little mustard on the bottom and top halves of the hamburger bun. Serve and enjoy!
