A rather unique cheeseburger that suits perfectly a picnic or even a family dinner. The best thing about it is the substitution of meat with plant-based meat that can be easily found in your local supermarket. Indulge in the various flavors of the cheeseburger and become a fan of meatless recipes.

  • Lettuce leaves

Method

  • Preheat a medium-sized skillet and pour 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil into it. When the oil starts to boil, place the patties and cook for around 8–10 minutes per side until the patties become slightly brown. When done, take them from the heat and let them cool down for an extra 5 minutes.

  • The following ingredients should be sliced: mozzarella, tomatoes, and red onion. Make sure to wash the vegetables before cutting.

  • Assemble the cheeseburger by placing lettuce leaves on the bottom part of the bun and topping it with tomato, red onion, and mozzarella slices. Then, place the plant-based patty along with a spoonful of ketchup and a little mustard. Top everything with another lettuce leaf and another part of the bun. Enjoy the meal and share the recipe with your friends and family.
