Method

  • First, wash the tomatoes, red onions, and cucumbers well under lukewarm water. Use a clean napkin to wipe off any excess water, then slice the vegetables thinly. 

  • Next, in a separate bowl, crack 4 eggs and whisk them for up to 1 minute until the yolks and whites are combined. Add 2 cups of milk and a pinch of salt to the same bowl, and whisk again.

  • The next step is to pour the egg mixture into the already-preheated skillet. Fry the omelette until it has a golden brown color; it usually takes around 6 minutes. Do not forget to do so on both sides of the omelette. Remove the skillet from the heat and place the omelette in a separate dish. Cut it into four even pieces.

  • The next step is to assemble the hamburger. Cut the hamburger buns in half and spread pesto on the bottom halves. Top with cabbage leaves, sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and a piece of omelette. Cover with the remaining hamburger buns and serve with a refreshing beverage, such as apple juice or coffee.

  • Add more crunch to your hamburger by toasting the hamburger buns. It is easy to do. Just place them on the heated grill for 2 minutes, and your toasted buns are ready!
