Peeling and deveining the shrimp is the first and most important step. To remove the vein from the back of a shrimp, insert a skewer sideways down from the shrimp's head and pull the tip of the skewer up towards you. As a result, the vein will be pushed up, and it will be easier to remove with the skewer or with your hand. The vein can be found on the back of the shrimp.
Before slicing the tomatoes, scallions, and cucumber, wash them under lukewarm water. Also, an important step is to mince the garlic cloves. This will add an extra flavor to the hamburger.
This step requires the use of a food processor. Begin by adding the shrimp to the food processor and pulsing until everything is well combined. Next, add in the breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, mustard, sliced scallions, minced garlic, and parsley leaves. Be sure to season with salt and pepper. Pulse the mixture in the food processor once more until it is thoroughly combined. Divide the finished mixture into 4 portions and shape them into medium-sized patties.
Preheat the grill to high-medium heat. Place the formed patties on it and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until done to your liking. At the same time, the hamburger buns can be toasted.
On the buns' bottom, spread a generous amount of ketchup and mustard. Build the hamburgers by adding lettuce leaves, tomato and cucumber slices, and one shrimp patty. Serve the hamburger and enjoy its taste; try combining it with different beverages, such as orange and apple juice!
Slightly oil the grill before placing the patties on it. It will prevent them from sticking to the grill.
