A delicious Mexican casserole made with ground beef, cubed tomatoes, canned beans and tortillas. The last ingredient can be replaced with nachos. This cheesy recipe will brighten up any holiday table. Serve hot with chili rings!

  • Cream of mushroom soup
    3,6 fl. oz.
  • Cheddar cheese
    1,3333333333333 cups
  • Tortillas/nachos
    package
  • Chili powder
    2 tsp.
  • Spices
    to taste

Method

  • Cut the tomatoes into cubes.

  • Grate cheese.

  • Heat the frying pan, add vegetable oil and ground beef. Brown over high heat, stirring constantly. Then add chili, beans (drain the liquid), cubed tomatoes and soup. Stir well all the ingredients of the pan.

  • Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil using a pastry brush. Then make the following layers: the first – tortillas, the second – tomatoes and beef mixture, the third – again tortillas, the last – the rest part of ground beef. Sprinkle with grated cheese. 

  • While preparing ingredients, switch on the oven. Set the temperature to 350 F. Transfer the baking dish only in a preheated oven for half an hour (30 minutes).
