Method

  • Rinse the chicken gizzards. Transfer to a large bowl and fill with a cold water. Soak for 1 hour. Then drain the water, remove the rest of yellow skin. Finally, cut them into small pieces.

  • Peel the onion, cut into half rings (but not very thin).

  • Rinse the carrots, peel and cut into strips.

  • Rinse the herbs, finely chop.

  • Peel the garlic, cut the cloves into a small parts.

  • Pour in vegetable oil in a slow cooker. Then add the chopped carrots, onion, garlic. Brown the ingredients for 8 minutes on low. Next, add the chicken gizzards and brown for 8 minutes.

  • The final step, add all other ingredients: tomato paste, peppercorn, bay leaf, salt and water (to cover). Select other program. Set time and simmer for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
