The gizzards are the part of digestive tract. They are cooked easy, just simmer them over low heat for a few hours. We recommend stewing gizzards in a slow cooker. Just prepare all the ingredients and wait until the dish is done. Serve with mashed/grilled potatoes, rice or vegetable salad.

Method

  • Rinse the chicken gizzards and vegetables in cold water, then cut into thin strips.

  • Peel the garlic, crush in a press.

  • Transfer the chopped ingredients to a slow cooker, pour in water. Season with spices and mix well.

  • Finally, close the slow cooker. Cook on low setting for about 1 hour.
