Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Wash the apple, peel the skin off, and cut it into thin slices.
Season the duck breast with salt and black pepper. The meat should be placed in a skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil; if desired, you can add more. Cook the meat for about 7 minutes, or until the skin on the breast is crispy.
Place the pan with the fried duck breast in the 375°F oven that has previously been prepared. The meat should be baked for around 15 minutes until it turns brown.
To prepare the sauce, in a medium-sized pan, add the sliced apple, dried currants, duck broth, apple cider vinegar, and honey. The sauce should be done over medium heat. All the ingredients should be gently combined as you bring them to a boil. It has to be done in seven minutes.
Slice the cooked duck breast into medium-sized pieces. As a topping, use apple slices and sprinkle the meat with the already prepared sauce. Enjoy the delicate and tender meat, together with the absolutely appetizing sauce!
How do you know if the duck meat is fully prepared? For that, with the help of a meat thermometer, check the internal temperature; it should not be higher than 160°F.
