  • Whole duck

  • Soy sauce

  • Remove the giblets from the duck's inside before beginning to cook. It is an extremely crucial step that needs to be taken.


  • After taking the garlic cloves and removing the skin, mince them.


  • In a small mixing bowl, add the minced garlic cloves, honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and, of course, season with salt and black pepper. Mix the sauce and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then, rub the marinade all over the duck meat and again place it aside so that the sauce combines with the meat. The more, the better.

  • While waiting for the meat to marinate, preheat the oven to 375°F. Transfer the duck to a tray or baking sheet. Do not forget to spray olive oil on the tray. Cook the duck for around 2 hours until the skin reaches a slightly brown color. If you have any left-over sauce, 30 minutes before removing the duck from the oven, pour a little sauce on top so that the duck has a juicier consistency.

  • When the duck is done, serve and enjoy it with a side dish, such as salat or pasta.


  • How do you tell if the duck is cooked already? You'll need a meat thermometer for that. It must get to about 165°F to be considered done.
