  • Before preparing the dish, preheat the oven to 400°F.

  • First, wash the vegetables. Season everything with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. The vegetables will be used in the recipe in their whole form.

  • The duck breast should be placed on a chopping board. Add dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to the duck breast's seasoning. 2 tablespoons of olive oil should also be added, and everything should be rubbed into the meat.

  • In a medium-heated skillet, pour some vegetable oil. On top of it, place the duck breast that has been seasoned, and cook for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until the meat has taken on a golden hue. When done, turn off the heat and remove the breast from the skillet.

  • Add the potatoes and cherry tomatoes around the fried duck breast on the tray along with the remaining ingredients. Top the vegetables with rosemary sprigs if preferred. Put the meat in a 400°F oven that has already been prepared. Everything should be baked for around 25 to 30 minutes, or until the duck's skin is crispy. After that, serve the meal and savor it with a selection of side dishes.

  • How to check that the duck is done and ready to be served. When baking, check the meat's temperature with the help of a meat thermometer. The temperature should be slightly higher than 145°F.

  • Instead of vegetable oil for frying, you can use any other oil, such as olive oil or even butter. The butter will give the meat a more delicate taste.

Bon Appetit!
