Method

  • Take a bowl. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and dried herbs. Mix well.

  • Melt butter in the microwave or in a saucepan. Then add to a bowl. Stir until the batter resembles coarse crumbs. Then gradually add milk, make a thick batter.

  • Take a spoon and drop the batter into soup, stew or milk. Close the pot, cook for about 15 minutes.

Tips

  • Make sure that there is enough liquid in your pot. Dumpling need much liquid.
