If you are cooking chicken soup, use dumplings instead of noodles. Just mix all the ingredients and then drop batter into a hot liquid. Serve your dish with green herbs and onions.

Method

  • Take a bowl. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well.

  • Add water. Mix well with a spoonful. The batter should be thick enough that you can drop it into the soup, broth or milk. Then leave it for a moment.

  • Drop a spoonful of batter in a boiling soup or milk. Close with lid and cook for about 15 minutes.

Tips

  • Make sure that there is enough liquid in your pot. Dumpling need much liquid.
