Baked pollock with sour cream sauce

Even going on a diet, you can eat a tasty and healthy food. Cook the baked fish, seasoned with your favorite spices. This is a great idea for dinner or lunch. Baked pollock in the oven is what you need for a balanced and health diet. This recipe contains mayonnaise, but it can be replaced with low-calorie sour cream. Serve with a side dish of rice, potatoes or salad and with a white wine.


  • Pollock
    2,2 lb.
  • Onion
  • Carrots
  • Sour cream (20%)
    4 tbsp.
  • Mayonnaise
    5 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil
    6 tbsp.
  • Wheat flour
    6 tbsp.
  • Spices
    to taste

  • Cook the onion and cut it into half rings. Saute in a pan in vegetable oil until golden brown. Then spread evenly on a baking sheet.

  • Peel the carrots, grate them. Then saute until tender and put on a baking sheet.

  • Cut the fish fillet into strips. Pour flour on a flat plate and roll the pollock before saute. Saute on both sides over moderate heat. Then put it to the baking sheet.

  • To make sauce, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and spices. At the end pour the sauce over the fish. Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
