Clean the mussels. To do this, thoroughly wash them in warm water, and then use a sponge to remove any dirt. Any mussels that might have debris or barnacles should be removed.
Take the garlic cloves, remove their skin, and then proceed with mincing them. When done, place everything aside.
Melt the butter in an already preheated skillet, and then add the minced garlic. Mix everything for around 2–3 minutes.
In the skillet with the garlic and melted butter, pour the heavy cream, season everything with salt and black pepper, and mix well. After the heavy cream starts boiling, add in the mussels, close the skillet with a lid, and cook for an extra 5-7 minutes, until the mussels are done.
When everything is done, serve the dish on a beautiful plate and enjoy it with your family or friends! Enjoy the most delicious mussel recipe!
If you prefer the dish to have more seasoning, add other spices when preparing the meal, such as thyme or dried parsley.
When washing the mussels, be careful not to cook those that don't open up at all or that open up excessively and don't close with a gentle tap. These mussels could be flawed.
Bon Appetit!
