Almost everyone recommends adding lamb to your spring shopping list. And perhaps this advice should be heeded. For lovers of lamb, for those who want to try something new, for fans of the classics and experimenters, for everyone! Try it and enjoy the taste.

  • Sweet potatoes
    4 pcs.
  • Lamb chops
    6 pcs.
  • Bell pepper
    4 pcs.
  • Bulb onion
    2 pcs.
  • Spices
    to taste
  • Olive oil
    6 tbsp.
  • French bean
    4 oz.
  • Zucchini
    2 pcs.
  • Parmesan
    4 oz.
  • Carrot
    4 pcs.

Method

  • First, prepare the chops for frying. Wash the meat, add salt and pepper to taste, cumin, rosemary and ginger (to taste or 2 pinces of each).

  • Grease a frying pan with olive oil and fry the chops on both sides for 5-7 minutes for each side. The meat should be soft and brown inside. You could add 3 tablespoons of water and simmer it, but you will get no crunchy meat, but very soft.

  • Wash, peel and slice the potatoes, line them up on an oven tray greased with olive oil. Peel and cut the zucchini, line up over the potatoes. Add some pinches of salt and put the meat in between the vegetables.

  • Dice and add the bell pepper, asparagus, green beans, onion and some parmesan. Season with spices to taste.

  • Place it into the oven preheated to 350 °F and roast for 25-30 minutes. Pierce the meat with a skewer to see if it's ready or not. The meat should be soft, but not dry.

  • Remove it from the oven, put in the plates and serve it hot with any side-dish or just as a individual dish. Add parsley or sprinkle with dried spices to your taste (paprika, garlic, cumin...)

Notes

  • Apart from the potatoes and carrots, you can replace the other vegetables according to your desire.

  • Use gloves to protect your hands while working with the oven tray.

  • The meat should be soft inside and lose its pink color and smell.
