Christmas Lamb with Vegetables

Synonymous with winter cooking, this christmas lamb is hearty, satisfying and a real pleaser on a chilly evening. This recipe cooks the lamb in a deep frying pan with your favourite vegetables and serves it with a simple potato mash.


  • Lamb neck
    28,2 oz.

  • Chop the lamb neck and soak in water for 30 minutes. Add the oil to a deep pan with a thick bottom. Then remove the lamb pieces from water and put them in the pan. Add some pepper and salt.

  • Bell peppers, onion and carrot cut into rings, lay on the top of the lamb in layers, then season with salt and pepper.

  • Put the chopped garlic and parsley on the top of the vegetables, cover with a lid and simmer for 1.5 hours. Do not add the water, lamb is stewed in its juice.


  • You can boil the potatoes and add to the lamb with vegetables 10 minutes before the dish is ready.
