Baked Meatloaf with Bacon

A wonderful main dish that can become the star of a family dinner. Due to the combination of bacon and beef, the meatloaf is super succulent and has a distinct flavor that makes everyone's mouth water. Do not lose the chance to indulge in a delicious and worth-trying recipe.


  • Ground beef
    16 oz.
  • Breadcrumbs
    0,5 cup
  • Milk
    0,5 cup
  • Egg
    1 pcs.
  • Garlic cloves
    2 pcs.
  • Worcestershire sauce
    0,5 tsp.
  • Salt
    1 tsp.
  • Black pepper
    to taste
  • Bacon
    10 strips
  • Scallions
    to taste per portion

  • First, take the scallions, wash them, and slice them into thin slices. Place them in a large mixing bowl. Also, mince the garlic cloves.

  • In the bowl with the scallions, add the ground beef, 1 egg, minced garlic cloves, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, milk, and black pepper to taste. Combine well all the ingredients and let it sit while the oven is heating. 

  • Grease the loaf pan with olive oil before adding the meat. Make it into a loaf before placing it in the pan, and then top it with the bacon strips. After layering the bacon pieces, make sure to fill in every space that is left empty. When ready, bake the pan for 55–60 minutes at 375°F, or until done.

  • Take the meatloaf from the oven and wait 5 minutes before slicing it. Serve it with side dishes, such as rice or any other delicious meal.


  • How do you check if the meatloaf is ready? For that, you can use a meat thermometer. The meat should not reach more than 160°–165°F.
