Method

  • The dried apricots have to be washed and cut, then transferred to a large mixing bowl. If desired, sprinkle the apricots with 1 teaspoon of honey. Also, preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • In the bowl, place the rest of the ingredients: ground beef, chopped dried apricots, flour, 1 egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and season with salt. Mix the ingredients well together, and then transfer the mixture to a loaf pan. 

  • Now, place in the preheated oven the meatloaf and bake for 45-50 minutes until it is fully done. When it is fully cooked, remove it from the oven, slice it, and serve. Enjoy this absolutely delectable dish with your family!

Tips

  • To help rehydrate the chopped apricots, soak them in boiling water for a little while before adding them to the meatloaf. This will make the meatloaf more delicate and enrich the taste of dried apricots.
