  • Take the persimmon and wash it under lukewarm water. Place it on a cutting board, gently remove its skin, and then proceed with cutting it into small cubes. When done, transfer the cut persimmon to a large mixing bowl.

  • In the mixing bowl, add the ground beef together with the cut persimmon, then the rest ingredients: milk, 1 egg, breadcrumbs, and Worcestershire sauce. Season everything with salt and other spices of your choice. Mix with a spatula, and then place the meat mixture in a loaf pan. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • In the next step, place the loaf pan into the preheated oven and bake for 50–55 minutes. Make sure to not overcook the meatloaf. Take a close look at the color of the top part; if it reaches a brown color, then it is time to remove it from the oven. When the dish is done, slice it and serve it with a salad or even with a glass of good wine. This recipe goes well with everything. Enjoy!

  • For more flavor in the meatloaf, sprinkle the dish with 1 teaspoon of honey on top. It will add a pinch of sweetness to the recipe. Make sure to give it a try!

Bon Appetit!
