Turkey is not only a leaner meat alternative to beef, but it is also a great source of protein and other essential nutrients. A tasty and healthy turkey meatloaf can easily take the place of the standard beef version.

  • Breadcrumbs
    0,5 cup
  • Dairy free milk
    0,3 cup
  • Egg
    1 pcs.
  • Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp.
  • Ketchup
    1 tbsp.
  • Onion
    1 pcs.
  • Garlic
    2 cloves
  • Salt
    1 tsp.

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F before making the meatloaf.

  • Peel the onion's skin, then place it on a cutting board and chop it into small cubes. After that, mince the garlic cloves. Add the ingredients in a big mixing bowl.

  • Add the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, one egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and season with salt and, optionally, a pinch of black pepper to the big mixing bowl. The components should be properly mixed.

  • The meatloaf should bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until it starts to become lightly brown. When finished, take the pan out of the oven. After serving the meatloaf, add any additional seasonings of your choice and savor its mouthwatering flavor!

Tips

  • To prevent the meatloaf from drying out, use ground turkey which has more fat in it. Pay attention when buying the meat, usually on the package of the meat is written the fat content. Preferably, it has to be more than 80%!
