Fill a pot with water, add salt. Cook pasta until it is done (see cooking time on the package). Drain pasta in a colander.
Peel onions, carrots and garlic. Finely dice the listed vegetables and celery. Rinse the ingredients before you cut them. Brown the chopped ingredients and ground beef in olive oil for 5 minutes. Season to your taste.
Rinse oregano under running water. Finely cut, add to the pan.
Pour wine into a frying pan, add tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes until the tomatoes are tender.
Then transfer penne pasta and butter to the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Sprinkle pasta with chopped herbs and grated cheese before serving.
