Penne arrabbiata is a very delicious Italian pasta without meat. It is cooked with tomatoes in juice, garlic, fresh herbs and chili peppers. The best idea for evening dinner!


  • Penne pasta
    1 cups
  • Tomatoes packed in their own juice
    7 oz
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
    to taste
  • Chili pepper
  • Olive oil
    1 tbsp.
  • Dry white wine
    1 tbsp.
  • Basil
    to taste
  • Parsley
    to taste
  • Scallions
    to taste

  • Fill a pot with water, add salt. Cook pasta until it is done (see cooking time on the package). Drain pasta in a colander.

  • Peel garlic, finely cut it. Rinse under running water scallions, finely cut it. Heat the frying pan, pour in olive oil. Brown for 1 minute. Then pour in wine, add potatoes in their juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Rinse chili peppers under running water, cut into rings. Add the chopped pepper and penne pasta to the frying pan. Simmer for 3 minutes.

  • Rinse herbs under running water, finely cut. Then sprinkle over the pasta before serving.

  • Transfer pasta to a plate. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

How to peel chili pepper?

  • Wear gloves and peel chili pepper, so you do not burn your skin. First rinse it, then cut lengthwise with a sharp knife. Remove the seeds with a blade of knife. Then wash your knife and cutting board thoroughly. Do not touch your face and eyes while cutting.
