Penne pasta with pesto sauce is a perfect dish for vegetarians and healthy diet. Just cook pasta, pour over with herb sauce. Garnish with cheese and basil leaves

  • Penne pasta
    4 cups
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
    to taste
  • Hazelnuts
    1 cups
  • Garlic
    6 cloves
  • Basil leaves
    2 bunches
  • Arugula
    0,8 oz
  • Olive oil
    4 tbsp.

Method

  • Peel the garlic, crush with a knife.

  • Grate Parmesan cheese.

  • Wash basil and arugula leaves under running water. Grind the herbs, hazelnuts in a blender jar. Pour in olive oil, grind for about 5 minutes.

  • Fill a pot with water, add salt. Cook pasta until it is done (see cooking time on the package). Drain the pasta in a colander. Pour the hazelnuts mixture over the pasta, mix well.
